Information You Need
Here are all the details you will need to know now that you’re close to booking your event. If you have more questions, be sure to contact Lauren Petersen.
Is there a weather policy? Do you offer rain dates?
*Unfortunately we do not provide rain check or rain dates. If your event is rained out and there is no indoor backup location, you can use your deposit towards another event that is to take place within 1 year of the original event. Product availability is not guaranteed for a rescheduled event.
What is your cancellation policy?
*In the event of adverse weather conditions, the client may cancel their event but shall forfeit their deposit. The deposit can be applied towards another event within 1 year from cancelled event. Reschedule an event by calling either (269) 628-2428 or (269) 569-3834. All rescheduled and rain checked events are based on equipment availability and are not guaranteed until re-booking is complete.
Do you require a deposit?
*Yes, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit for all events.
Do we have to pay a deposit and sign the contract and/or rental agreement?
*Absolutely. Paying the deposit and signing the contract/rental agreement is what guarantees your rental. If your contract is not signed and/or we do not receive a deposit, we may not be able to come to your event (unless prior written arrangements have been made). vertical_edge_rental_agreement
How do you anchor your inflatables?
*Inflatables are always anchored with either stakes or sandbag weights. It is crucial to tell your sales representative what surface you pan to have the inflatables on.
Does Vertical Edge have insurance?
*Yes! Vertical Edge is fully insured under our general liability policy, commercial vehicle and workman’s comp insurance. If you’d like your event, company or location listed as additionally insured under our policy for the date of your event, Additionally Insured Certificates are $30 per entity listed.
How far in advance should I book my event?
*Book your event as soon as possible! We are typically booked out multiple weeks, or months, in advance, especially weekends.
Can inflatables and rides go indoors?
*Absolutely, as long as your indoor location is big enough to accommodate the desired attractions’ space and height requirements.
Are there weight limits or height restrictions?
*Yes, each ride and attraction varies on the height and weight requirements. Adults can go on most inflatables and rides. In fact, many of them are designed with adults in mind!
What kind of power is required? Do I have to provide power?
*All inflatables and some rides require anywhere from one to three 20amp circuits, and some rides take a 50amp circuit to operate. Power source must be within 100 feet of where the attraction is to be placed. If adequate power is not available on-site, talk to your sales representative about bringing generator power to your event. We rent our generators for $30/generator/hour.
How do I pay my remaining balance on the day of the event?
*You can pay one of two ways; 1) Give a check to the driver or 2) Give cash to the driver. Drivers cannot process credit cards on site. Please be sure to make your final payment prior to set-up the day of your event.
How big of a space do I need for the items I rented?
*This depends on the type of attraction(s) you’re renting for your event, how many people you’re expecting, whether food will be served, etc. You can either talk to one of our sales representatives about the space needed for your items, or look at the bottom of each attraction page on this website for attraction dimensions.
If my rental equipment is a drop-off/pick-up, do I have to stay with it at all times?
*Yes! You must stay with our equipment at all times while it is in your possession. Please remember, you are responsible for whatever equipment we drop off, including blowers and cords.
What time will your crew arrive?
*Please allow Vertical Edge crew access to event site 2 hours prior to start of your event.
Can I come in and look at your inflatables and attractions in person?
*Unfortunately our inflatables and rides are not on display or available to see at our facility. Please refer to our website for pictures and video.
How windy is too windy for an inflatable?
*Individual inflatables have their own wind ratings which range from 15mph – 25mph. If winds exceed wind limits, they will be shut down for the safety of you and your guests.
Is there a delivery charge?
*The delivery charge is factored into your total package quote. It is based on the location of your event and the number of trucks required to bring the attractions to your event’s location.
Do you have any discounts available?
*Yes! We offer a 5% discount for first time clients. We also offer a 10% discount if you bundle 4 or more inflatable attractions. (Bundle discount does not include any mechanicals or Screamer Slide.
